Inspiration 1

My first photo shooting assignment will focus on the subject of Nature & Landscapes. I chose this subject because my mom has a love for flowers and landscaping so there are many pictures I could easily take around my house.

These images that I am using for inspiration are great examples of Nature/Landscape because they really show how beautiful the outdoors can be. Taking a closer look and nature can also be a fun way to take pictures, and I plan to try this!

Composition 1 & 2

• This assignment was for our class to get familiar with Composition. There are eleven elements of composition such as "The Rule of Thirds", Patterns, Symmetry, Texture, Depth of Field, Lines, Framing, Perspective, Space, Balance, and Color.
• I learned throughout this assignment what all is involved in taking pictures with a good Composition, and what all those elements of Composition are. Being able to find certain elements was a bit of a struggle, such as patterns.

Introduction - About the Photographer

My name is Kelly McCracken,

-I just transferred to Saline High School, and joined their Cheerleading team. Before transferring, I was on my old school's team.

-I've enjoyed drawing, and photography ever since I was little. I also really like to work on editing pictures and videos when I can.

-I took this photography class because my dad has always been into photography, so when I was very young he introduced me to it. I've loved taking pictures ever since, and continue to want to improve my photography skills.
